As parents and educators, our common goal is to provide our children with the best education they can have, combined with love and respect of the Lord. Our programs coordinate the resources and efforts of parent volunteers to provide the little “extras” that enrich the lives of our children. The PTO also serves as an important communication channel to the parent community.
Membership is open to the families and teachers of St. Michael School. Together, we are a powerful voice for our children and with your help, we can continue to work toward our goal of a quality education for every child.
PTO meetings are open to everyone, including faculty and administration. PTO terms are two years. Elections are held if multiple people are interested in a position. The new PTO assumes responsibility in June.
“Christ empowers us to continue His mission through the Holy Spirit.” (John 14:10-17)
The mission of the St. Michael PTO is to enhance the educational experience of our children by supporting academic and enrichment activities, providing volunteer and financial support, and encouraging communication between parents, teachers, and school administration.
Since 1873, St. Michael School has been committed to providing quality education to children in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Because Saint Michael is a private parochial school, we depend on fundraising activities to support educational programs for our students and faculty.
Although the primary goal of these fundraisers is to raise money to support various programs for the students and faculty at St. Michael School, these events also provide us with opportunities to gather and enjoy one another as a community.
We greatly appreciate the combined efforts of our faculty, administration, parent teacher organization, students, and alumni.
Below is a brief list of some of the school year fundraising activities. To find out more about any of these activities, or for a more complete list, please contact a member of PTO.
Please email pto@st.michaelschoolct.com if you would like to assist with any of the Saint Michael School fundraising events. We welcome and appreciate all volunteers.
